'Cuz Tito Mosquito is just that kind of guy. The "works" hanging in the art museum where the skeeters are at have been almost as much fun to create as drawing the comic. This week's background piece is the La Vida Skeeter logo after being put through the Warholizer. I've put a couple photos through there for fun. Here's the skeeter print on its own and a dandy
Warhol profile pic of me trying to get my "15 minutes."
Also, on tap: one last reminder about the La Vida Skeeter facebook page (only because I posted a facebook-centric extra comic up over there this week). Then, I'll stop being so annoying about it. Of course, you can always comment here on this blog or check out The Mosquito Net for happy hour and start your own discussion!
I'm writing this blog with a sweet dachshund on my lap wanting attention (does he ever not want attention?) and not a mosquito around for miles and miles. It's waaaaay too cold for skeeters right now. I was out in 20 degree weather earlier this week doing live shots for my day job. When you're tuned into the nightly newscast and see a reporter shivering by the side of the road (telling you everything that the weather guy in the nice, warm studio just told you), I'm the guy behind the camera...also shivering. Anywho, it's always warm enough on this site to bring the swarm! Check back for more mosquito action next Friday (Thursday night for you early birds). On tap next week: who is Gin Blossom?
Cheers,
Lee
